How often do you upgrade your phone?

How often do you decide that you need to upgrade your phone? Do you upgrade each year or do you alternate years to at least extend the usage of your phone? I only upgrade once every few years. I try and get at least 3 to 4 years out of my phones.

I know some people upgrade all the time but I think that's just a waste of time having to transfer data constantly. What's your upgrade timeline like?

I tend to upgrade my phone once every 2 years. I like to have the best phone possible so I get all the fancy new features but I also am mindful that I don't want to upgrade every year because they it becomes a bit of chore when you get a brand new phone. I like to have a really good camera as I'm really into taking pictures on my phone when I go out.

I think that you should upgrade your phone at most probably once every two or three years but I think that if you're happy with it then you should keep it for as long as you can. It reduces the overall waste you're producing and also it's actually a bit of an annoyance to upgrade often and have to back up and transfer your data all the time when you get a new one. Plus, you have to think about selling your old phone which is the worst.
