Best laptop brand?

Recommended Posts

Whenever you want to buy a new laptop, which brand always comes to your mind first? There are so many of them out there like Dell, HP, Acer, and so on. Which one are you currently working with and would you consider changing it now?

I always use apple. I like the seamless link that you can have if you can use apple laptop and phone. I also prefer the Mac system and find it more user-friendly than a windows laptop. I have a Dell laptop for work but don't find it as reliable and notice that it requires far more system updates than apple laptops. The only issue with using apple is that they are so expensive.

Even though I don't own one, I do honestly think that Macbooks are the best brand of laptop to get. macOS does have it's quirks but they're a pretty solid piece of kit and run great for all kinds of tasks. Obviously if you want to game they're a no-go but if you're doing general bits and pieces like 'life admin' such as document editing, emails or even designing graphics they're perfectly suitable.

From what I have experienced MacBooks are better than windows based laptops. Once you are familiar with the way apple programming works I think that MacBooks are so much more reliable and last longer than other brands, and having apple phones it makes syncing between devices easier when they are the same brand.

It's kind of hard to say what the absolute best laptop brand is. I think it's a close call between Asus, HP and Apple for various difference reasons. I think Apple has the advantage over making the hardware and software and overall MacBooks are pretty good, but Asus and HP can offer good performance at a lower cost so it's tough.

It depends on what type of work you'll be doing as to what brand is best. If you're wanting to game then I think Asus have some pretty great laptops to offer in their ROG line. Razer also seem to have some decent ones on offer too. For anything creative then probably an Apple MacBook is the way to go.
