Maxwell
Whenever you purchase a new smartphone, how long do you have to use it before you replace it? Some users never replace their smartphone unless the phones stops being functional or it's developed too much faults. The maximum I can use a phone is 2 years and I'm having it replaced.

This is exactly the same thing with me when it's time for me to change my current android phone. I always make sure that the phone have lasted at least 2 years in my usage before I will be forced to replace it.

I have tried to use one old Techno Camom 8 some years back for 3 years and it died on me when I never expected it. I lost all my files and pictures in it because it refused to power on again. Nomad
My current phone is two and half years old. Before I purchased this phone, I was using my previous phone for more than 4 years. Generally speaking, I use the phone until it can be used. I buy new phone only when my phone can no longer be used.

Wow, that's interesting. I can't really bring myself to do that because of the fear of losing my data on the smartphone if it suddenly becomes bad. I hope that you always have your data or information backed up just in case...?
Rampage
I can't remember the last time I replaced my phone. I think the phone before the one I have now was the iPhone 7 (I think anyway). I try not to upgrade too much because it starts to get very expensive and I hate having to sell my old phone. It's not a smooth process and selling things is very stressful anyway, let alone a phone. GuiltySpark
I don't replace my phone that often I don't think. I reckon the last time I upgraded was probably like two, maybe three years ago because I like to have the latest thing but also don't like to buy a new phone for the sake of it either. I like there to be a bit of a noticeable bump in specs if I'm going to spend lots of money.
ByteAndChew
I will try to replace my phone perhaps once every two years because I like to have the newest tech on offer but I also don't want to spend lots and lots of money on a phone every year. Besides, leaving it at least two years allows for actual progress with upgrades and gives you more for your money by waiting.
