Using Mailchimp with Webmail

Hi. I'm setting up a MailChimp account and looking to send mail from the same domain I use for Webmail.

DKIM: Create a CNAME record for k1._domainkey.MYDOMAINNAME.com with this value: dkim.mcsv.net
SPF: Create a TXT record for MYDOMAINNAME.com with: v=spf1 include:servers.mcsv.net ?all

Will it change my ability to access my email via your webmail?

  • Yes but it would be best to just combine into one spf. The first actual spf record that a mail server finds is the only one that will be checked so you can do something like

    v=spf1 include:emailsrvr.com v=spf1 include:servers.mcsv.net ?all

  • Thanks.

    How about 2 DKIM records?

    I assume as they are CNAME and separate this i okay?

  • Yes you can have another DKIM record.
